THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY OF UZBEKISTAN IS REPRESENTED IN GERMANY

The exhibition is held annually in one of the economic capitals of Germany - in the city of Frankfurt am Main and attracts 60,000 professional visitors and more than 3,000 exhibitors from all over the world. The delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of representatives of 15 domestic enterprises with international certificates, participates in the exhibition under the brand "Made in Uzbekistan". During the event, its participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with presentation materials on the current potential and long-term plans of the textile industry of Uzbekistan, as well as conclude mutually beneficial agreements in the field of export of domestic textile products to Germany. Foreign participants noted with great interest the favorable price-quality ratio of Uzbek knitwear and expressed their desire for long-term cooperation. Michael Borchmann, sales agent for the Chinese International Investment Company: - Every year, Uzbekistan demonstrates the quality and elegance of Uzbek textiles, which occupies a special place in the global textile industry. In addition, Uzbekistan is a country with an interesting historical and cultural background. I have been to your country 2 times and it holds a special place in my heart. Nargiza Makhkamova, Regional Sales Manager of Textima Export Import GmbH: - Today we are in the city of Frankfurt am Main at the annual textile exhibition "Heimtextil - 2023". I represent the company "Textima Export Import GmbH" which is known not only in Uzbekistan, but also abroad. We maintain fruitful cooperation with foreign companies and implement various projects for the development of the textile industry in Uzbekistan. I want to note that in recent years the textile industry in our country has been developing at a very fast pace. We have more opportunities to show the beauty of Uzbek home textiles to the whole world. In general, the export of Uzbek textiles for 10 months of 2022 exceeded 2.6 billion US dollars with an annual growth of 10.7%. By 2025, textile exports are expected to grow to $7 billion. The legal base for business being created in our republic, the desire of the leadership to further develop the country's economy and the desire to attract new investors are yielding fruitful results. To date, there are more than 200 textile industries in Uzbekistan, each of which has potential consumers both in the country and abroad. Representative of the German company "Karl Mayer Stoll Textilmaschinfabrik Deutchland" Matthias Müller: - I used to work for Darnier and often visited Uzbekistan. I currently work for Karl Mayer Stoll Textilmaschinfabrik Deutchland, which sells weaving and preparation machines. Glad to be at such a grandiose exhibition today. This is a great opportunity to meet old and new partners here. I look forward to further fruitful cooperation. Your booth is very beautiful and attracts a lot of people, this is a good sign for investors.
